Unilever Business and Marketing Support AG, ("Unilever") has entered into a contractual agreement with QuestionPro, as the host for this site. For the purpose of data protection law, Unilever are the data controller and QuestionPro are the data processor.

In the course of providing services on our behalf, QuestionPro is bound by strict contractual restrictions to make sure that your personal data is protected, and applicable data protection laws are complied with. QuestionPro will not use your data for any purpose other than in support of its services to Unilever. Neither QuestionPro nor Unilever will disclose your personal data to any other parties, other than described in this Privacy Policy, without your consent.

4. What data do we collect and when?

4.5. We also collect technical information sent automatically by your browser and device to give us information about your visit to Our Site. In terms of your visits to Our Site we record length of visits to certain pages, page response times and errors. This information does not identify you personally.

5. How do we use your data?

5.1. All personal data is processed and stored securely, for no longer than is necessary in light of the reason(s) for which it was first collected. We will comply with our obligations and safeguard your rights under GDPR at all times.

5.4.1. Requests to unsubscribe are actioned automatically and immediately. This process deactivates your membership; preventing you from logging in to Our Site and receiving any further communications from us.

5.4.2. The personal data belonging to unsubscribed members is deleted within 3 months of the unsubscribe request being received. Aggregated data and anonymised responses to research activities remain unless you specifically request them to be removed.

6. How and where do we store your data?

6.1. Some or all of your data may be stored outside the European Economic Area (“the EEA”). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff maybe engaged in, among other things, the provision of support services. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. 7.1. If you have given your express permission to do so we may share your data with other companies in our group &/or with our key customers (e.g. Walmart, Walgreens, Boots, Tesco, Woolworths, Coles, Shoprite) for the purposes of product development research & testing.

7.2. There are certain exceptional circumstances in which we may disclose your information to third parties. This would be where we believe that the disclosure is;

7.2.1. Required by the law, or in order to comply with judicial proceedings, court orders or legal and regulatory proceedings;

7.2.2. Necessary to protect the safety of our employees, our property or the public;

7.2.3. Necessary for the prevention or detection of crime, including exchanging information with other companies or organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction; or

7.2.4. Proportionate as part of a merger, business or asset sale, in the event that this happens we will share your information with the prospective seller or buyer involved.

7.3. We contract with third parties to help us supply our services to you. This includes third parties involved in the provision of Our Site, couriers for delivery of goods, and parties for the distribution of incentives/rewards you have earnt through your participation in Our Site. 8. How long do we keep your personal data for?

8.2. Your data may also be retained so that we can continue to improve your experience with us and to ensure that you receive any loyalty rewards which are due to you.

8.3. We retain the identifiable data we collect directly for targeting purposes for as little time as possible, after which we employ measures to permanently delete it.
